Ford Focus Cosworth

Seen here during recent tests at Germany's Nürburgring circuit is a prototype mule of the future hot Ford Cosworth, which is the road version of Ford's Focus World Rally Car (WRC).
The final edition of this new model will again feature the big rear wing, which is still missing on the pictured prototype.
The Focus Cosworth will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine performing 310 bhp, acceleration rates around 62 MPH in 5 secs. The car is also expected to get a newly developed four-wheel-drive system.
Besides the top of the line Cosworth, Ford is developing two other sporty Focus variants: the RS is scheduled for launch this summer, and the ST170 is scheduled for release this autumn.
