Alfa Romeo Spider and GTV to Receive Facelift

As these pictures, recently shot in Turin close to the Fiat / Alfa Romeo design centre, prove, the sporty Italian make is soon to release the facelift for the Spider / GTV ranges.
The new facelift will attempt to boost sales of the car, which has to survive another three or four years before the new generation will hit the roads.
While mechanics and underpinnings will be left unchanged, the exterior will receive slight modifications such as a re-designed front bumper with spoiler-lip, modified door sills, new fog-lights and an additional air-intake in the front wings.
 Base engine will remain the 1.8-litre 16-valve unit with 144 HP followed by a more potent 2-litre 155-HP version.
The V6s remain as well, starting with the 2-litre engine developing 202 HP, followed by the two 3-litre V6s delivering 192 HP and 220 HP respectively.
