The Nationwide Pass Rate for FULL TESTS for the month of November 2001 is:
63%
and 47,122 cars underwent a full NCT.

The Nationwide Pass Rate for RE-TESTS for the month of November 2001 is:
90%
and 15,199 cars were re-tested.

The Nationwide Pass Rate for FULL TESTS to date (for the period 1st January until 30th November 2001) is:
62%
and 344,766 cars underwent a full NCT.

The Nationwide Pass Rate for RE-TESTS to date (for the period 1st January until 30th November 2001) is:
89%
and 123,465 cars were re-tested.

Top Three Failure Items:

Year 2001 to date:
the main failure items are Brakes, Front Suspension and Emissions.

In the year 2000:
43,000 pre 92 cars (1 in 6) were identified as having defective brakes.

34,000 pre 92 cars (1 in 8) were over the emissions limit set by the European Union.

32,000 pre 92 cars (1 in 9) had defective steering.
