NCTS to begin testing 92-96 cars

Because NCTS is obliged to test a vehicle up to 8 weeks before the anniversary of its first registration, the testing of 92-96 registered cars will begin as early as November 2000.
This is good news for car-owners as NCT Certificates are valid from the date the test is due to the registration anniversary date two years later, regardless of when you actually take the test. In other words, get tested early and you will have your certificate for longer!
