Murray Takes victory at blistering SnettertonRound 13 held no superstitions for The Holfeld F1 Components backed driver who qualified fourth on the grid. At the start, he got ahead of team-mate Oli Wilkinson and then passed Vince Martin and headed off in pursuit of race leader Jonathon Fildes. A mistake by Fildes on lap 5 allowed Murray to pounce and take the lead. Eoin from Firhouse in Dublin then controlled the race from the front and built up a substantial lead to eventually cross the line over three seconds ahead of the chasing pack and setting the fastest lap of the race at 1.18.357 to take his second outright win of the season.

Round 14 on Saturday afternoon had the young Irish Driver on row 2 of the grid and looking very good for a second win of the weekend this however was marred by a collision with team-mate Charlie Butler Henderson at the chicane at the end of Revett Straight which resulted in the Holfeld F1 Components driver being shunted into the tyre barrier. Eoin did manage to re join the circuit but with his car severely damaged he did exceptionally well to eventually finish in 10th place.

Commenting on his weekend Murray said " I was thrilled with the win we’ve been working very hard as a team and it’s been tough getting to where we want to be. I was very confident of a good result in race two, the car felt very good. I was in a strong position, however the incident with Charlie at the chicane really put paid to that and I had to really work very hard to nurse the car home in 10th but then that’s Motorsport and you have to take the rough with the smooth" said a philosophical Murray
