Statement from Punchestown Rally Experience The organisers of the Punchestown Rally Experience - which has brought world championship stars Colin McRae, Richard Burns and Freddy Loix to Ireland - confirm they have no connection with a rally sprint planned at the Co. Kildare venue next month.

Statement from Punchestown Rally ExperienceThe Punchestown Rally Experience organisers have exclusive rights to the 2.4km asphalt stage since the inception of the international event in 2001.


With a provisional date of July 3/4, 2004, the organisers are already in negotiations with the top three manufacturer teams in the World Rally Championship to attend and maintain the high profile of the event.
